TSS

What you hear in your head while writing your songs comes first; next comes the sound of the performance. You want to share your songs with the world, and that's where recording comes in. That is the third sound, and the true culmination of a musician's work

Location, Live, or Studio recording, mixing, and mastering. Focusing on fully produced music that is ready for digital distribution, physical sales, and radio air play.

Recording, Mixing, and Production

Recording

More than putting a mic in front of a guitar, engineering experience allows me to work quickly whether I'm recording a band live at a show, in a state-of-the-art studio, or on location in your rehearsal room or even living room.'

Mixing

Once tracking is done, the mix can begin. You will get to hear a rough mix on tracking day to get an idea of how the recording went, but after I go through a critical listening process and taking the time to give your mix the attention it deserves, it will be ready to distribute online, sell CDs at shows, and be heard on the radio.

Production

Sometimes after recording your songs, it can sound anemic compared to fully produced studio albums. Sometimes it's something as simple as adding a shaker in the chorus to playing a cello line through the verses, or a mandolin in the bridge, I can usually play that missing part myself, and if I can't, I have a network of session musicians that I work with regularly who deliver excelent quality parts.

Mastering

All the tracks on an album should be similar in "loudness," so when track 3 comes on, your fans don't get blown out in their car! Then again, sometimes what you need is for your single to be loud so it stands up to the biggest tracks on the radio. When your album is done, every track will be ready to be heard anywhere.
